Group sessions

Cohort

Cohort learning works because peers catch problems you stop seeing in your own code. Groups of 6–12 learners move through the same curriculum together, with weekly live sessions where instructors debug real projects in real time. You get structured deadlines and the social pressure that actually makes people finish things.

Individual sessions

Private

Private sessions exist for learners who already have a specific game concept and need to move at their own pace. The curriculum adapts to your existing skill level — whether you know Java but not Kotlin, or Unity but not Android publishing. Sessions are scheduled around your availability, not a fixed calendar.

How a learning path actually forms

Pekka Leinonen joined with two years of hobbyist Android experience and a half-finished puzzle game. Rather than repeating fundamentals, his path started at game loop optimisation and moved directly into monetisation design. Skill mapping session

Before any curriculum is assigned, an instructor reviews your existing code, asks about your target game genre, and maps where the genuine gaps are. This takes about 45 minutes and produces a written summary.

Based on the mapping, you choose between cohort or private format. Cohort tracks run on fixed cycles — typically starting the first Monday of each month. Private tracks can begin within a week of enrolment.

Every module connects to a real game you build throughout the program. Texture atlases, input handling, save systems — these are taught as problems your actual project encounters, not abstract exercises.
